How to Keep Straight Sides

A common issue with beginning crocheters is “wonky” sides in their crochet fabric. You too? No worries, you are not alone! This is usually due to gaining and/or loosing stitches in each row. In this video, I address the most common reasons why this happens and how you can confidently create straight fabric. I know you will be excited to accomplish this, especially if you have been struggling with “wonky” sides for a while, so show off your practice swatch on the Facebook group. I would love to see it!

  1. Thank you so very much for the great video. I have only been crocheting about 1 year and have struggled with keeping my sides straight to the point of almost giving it up completely. Your wonderful video and excellent instructions has help me understand how to work my stitches at both the beginning and end of the each row. It has helped me tremendously and I will be sure to share your great site to my crochet friends. Once again, thank you so very much!
